A large size horseshoe, roughly the size of most adult's hands (about 8" by 8", this is actually a draft horse shoe). To use a horseshoe as a repellent of bad luck or harmful energy/spirits: place the shoe over your front door with the open end pointed down. To attract good luck, hang it with the open end pointed up. In theory, this creates a "bowl" which keeps your good luck from running out.
