Classes at DragonMarsh

DragonMarsh has had many requests for classes on specific subjects. To answer these requests qualified teachers have agreed to teach a series of classes on Magickal or Craft workings. These classes will be approximately 1 hour to 2 hours long (or longer) with the focus concentrated on the subject for that class. Class fees include supplies & printed material unless quoted. Please sign up & prepay at the front register before the night of the class so that the teacher can prepare the supplies needed for that class. These are generally adult classes. If you have a question about a child or teenager taking a class please consult the classes instructor. Sorry, we have no child care available. There must be 3 Students Signed up to have the class.

About Our Teachers

The teachers at DragonMarsh are all adults (21+) with 30 or more years of experience in magickal and spiritual arts, with an emphasis on positive thinking and creation. Anyone with a sincere desire to learn is welcome at our classes. Our teachers wish only to share their knowledge and assist others in awakening and using their own natural abilities; they are not interested in proselytizing. Each student enrolled in a class will receive supplies for their in-class magickal "workings," as well as a printed packet of instructor-written guidelines and notes on the subject of their class. The class fee covers the cost of supplies and printed material for each student. Please sign up and pre-pay before the night of the class so that the teacher can prepare enough materials for everyone who has enrolled.

Tues July 2nd 6:30–8:30 pm Incense 101 $31/28.00* Incense has been used through the ages for many purposes including protection, love, blessing and money. Learn about all the different types of incense and how to use/burn it from sticks, to smudge, to powders, to incense oils. Includes recipes & hands on instruction for making your own incense. Class fee includes materials & all supplies for class project.

Sat July 6th 6:30–8:30 pm Money Magick $28/25.00* Got Money? Need a boost in your pocketbook? Need a raise? Do bill collectors have your number on speed dial? Everyone wants more money! This class will help you learn how to find, earn  Or receive more money and grow prosperous in your life. 

We will explore in this class: 

Can spirituality & prosperity co-exist? The answer is a resounding “Yes!”

Transforming your relationship with Money! Uncover and transform your limiting thoughts about money & prosperity. Learn to align yourself with abundance!

Treasure Mapping! Explore this visual representation of what you are asking the universe for!

Awakening Abundance For All Your Senses: Included are Aromatherapy and Scents, Herbs & Plants, Crystals & Stones, Candles, Food, Money Baths, Prayers & Affirmations and much more. 

We will be making a money drawing amulet in class! Class includes paperwork, class project and a chance to enjoy a more prosperous life.

Tues July 9th 6:30–8:00 pm Make It Take It Magickal Herbal Soap $18/15.00*  Come drink a cup of tea and Create an assortment of hand-made soaps using several methods that include Magickal herbs, scents and color! Learn to charge & bless your creations for magickal use. Remember to bring an apron or wear an old shirt this class can get messy! Your soap will be cured and ready in time for Lammas. Class includes gift packaging for finished soap. Fee includes class, hand outs and all supplies.

Sat July 20th 2-4:30 pm  House Blessing & Cleansing  $33/30.00* Do you feel Discord in your own Castle? Having strange Dreams? Feel a presence not your own? Is there a fog of unhappiness on your family? Feeling a negativity in your home? Do Strange noises go bump in the night (that aren’t the cat!) This class will Help you to Cleanse & Bless your home or apartment. Your Home should be your Sanctuary.

We will explore in this class: 

House Blessing Ceremonies & Gifts from Many Cultures. 

*House Cleansings & Purifications- Learn the best type for you!  Learn the many forms of cleaning the   negativity &“psychic slime” from your home or workplace. Learn the proper way to smudge & sweep your home with white or silver sage & much more. Learn to remove any negative spirits, energy or ??? that makes your home uncomfortable. Learn to extend your cleansings to you, yourself, your family & pets.

 *Physical items for Blessing & Cleansings - How to use Physical items to increase or boost your homes   protection or cleanse negative energies around your life. Learn to use Candles, Amulets, Crystals, Herbs, Plants, Oils & Incense in your home. Learn the use of Holy objects & Prayer work to ask for help in a crisis. Learn How to Find & Assign a House Guardian to Watch over your Home. Much More!

Sun July 21st 2-4:00 pm Make It Take It-Sensuous Salts, Scrubs, & Body Butter $28/25.00* Time to pamper yourself! Come have a cup of tea and Create in class- lovely scented soaking salts, body/face/lip scrubs and body butter/lotion. Students will leave with a collection of goodies for 

yourself or to give as a gift! Class fee includes materials, handouts & all supplies for class project 

 

Thurs July 25th 6:30-8:30 pm Making, Creating and Organizing a BOS (Book of Shadows) $28/25.00* Every Book You read, Every class you take, every web page you see- tells you that a Grimoire or BOS is a MUST. But what is it? What does it look like? What is in it? Can I make it myself? What if I have rotten handwriting? What if someone else reads or touches it? Can I share with my friends? Learn the difference between fact & fiction and all the answers to these questions and more! 

Topics include- Book of Shadow design, Materials consecration, Book blessings, Electronic BOS’s, Books of Light & Shadows, Private & Coven Books, Travel Bos’s, The difference between inner & outer court books, Hereditary books and much more! Class fee includes materials, handouts & all supplies for class project

Sat Aug 3rd 4–6:00 pm Pet Magick $28/25.00* You have been taking magickal classes to improve your life but what about your pet? In this class you will learn many forms of pet blessings, protections,  healing, how to involve your pet in your magick, communicating with your pet, finding a familiar and much more. Included in this class are ways to honor a pet who has passed on. We will be making a magickal  protective collar for your pet. Teacher will have a basic assortment of collars. Please bring a collar that fits your pet (buckle/clasp type in fabric or nylon, not a flea collar) if they are an unusual size. Class fee includes materials, handouts & all supplies for class project

 

Sun Aug 4th 3-5:00 pm Lammas/ Lunasadgh Celebration Free**  Lammas or Lughnasadh, is the festival of the First Fruits of the Harvest, and is celebrated by much feasting on all things made of grain. Come celebrate at DragonMarsh as we give thanks to the Earth for its bounty and beauty. This is not a ritual circle - We celebrate with activities and information that all ages and faiths can enjoy! Call for more  information. The celebration will include games and craft activities. The history of the Holiday and the ways it has been celebrated over time will be discussed and refreshments of the season will be served. All faiths are Welcome.You may bring a munchie/treat to share if you like (no alcohol or cannabis please) **$1.00 donation to the pet adoption center or can of pet food to make large projects (corn dollies).

 

Wed Aug 7th 6:30–8:30 pm Magickal Tools & Altars-Design & Decor $28/25.00* Learn all about Magickal tools. What are they? Do you need ALL of them? Separate Myth from Magick What IS the difference between a wand, a staff and a broom? Does it matter what color my Athame’ is? Can I make my own pentacle? Do I really need a cord? Can I use a travel mug? Where do I get tools? What is a grimoire  anyway? How can I decorate my Altar? Learn the answers to these questions and many more! Learn how to care bless/consecrate your tools & how to use tools properly. Design your own sacred space and Altar  layouts. Bring any tool you have questions about. Fee includes class, hand outs & all supplies for project .

 

Sat Aug 10th 5–7:00 pm Candle Magick $31/28.00* Need to “light” a fire under your current  project? Need love, luck, money, protection, or a new job? Feel something strange in your neighborhood? Got Wick? Are you burning your candle at both ends? Can you burn it now? Learn what candle shape & color to use for what spell and why. Learn the do’s & Don’ts of magickal candle burning. Taper? Votive? Tea light? Figure? Jar? Pillar? Knob? Learn how the moon or sun phase will affect your work. Learn to safely Bless, charge & make Magickal candles for any purpose. Learn what candle you should ALWAYS have in your home. Learn what never to do to a candle. Learn how to incorporate stones, crystals, herbs, oils and magickal symbolism in your candles. Thurs Aug 15th 6:30– 8:30 pm Sacred Spaces-Calling Circles & Quarters $28/25.00* What is a circle and what do I do in it? How do I make one? How does it work? How do I get rid of it? Learn the art of creating a sacred space for prayer work, meditation, celebrating holidays and much more. Students will explore different ways of calling quarters including watchtowers, angels, dragons/animals and elements. Topics include casting without tools, defining space, dismissing & cleanup of circles, Q & A and live demonstrations. Class fee includes materials, handouts & all supplies for class project

FREE- Mouse Making Madness- Make a Catnip Mouse for Charity! 

Help the Mary S Roberts Pet Adoption Center. This is a great way to do a "give back" to the universe for all your blessings. DragonMarsh is having this class to enable our friends and customers to help the shelter   without cost to you. We just ask a little of your time. The pet adoption center in riverside (our store's "pet" charity) is really under funded this year with the recession, covid and kitten season! This is one item we can create to help our furry friends! In this class we will be making toys for the cats. Morigianna will supply f abric scraps, patterns, recipes and notions. DragonMarsh will supply the catnip and other kitty herbs for peaceful sleep and a space for the class. Entry fee for the class will be a can or bag of pet food (any type) however, no one will be turned away that wants to help. No sewing experience necessary! Non-sewing people or children can stuff mice or cut patterns. We hope to give 200 mice and lots of food to the pet adoption center. Come help us make our goal!

This simple yet comprehensive class covers everything you need to know about crystals & the mineral kingdom & how to choose, honor, clear & work with them. Learn the 4 “C’s” of crystals & stones. Choosing, Charging, Care & Cleaning. Learn the properties of Crystals & which are perfect for you. Explore Shapes & types of Crystal (raw, polished, cut, tumbled etc.). Crystal safety.Setting & Clearing crystals. How to wear & meditate with crystals. Use Crystals to remove blockages keeping you from getting what you desire.
