This specimen of an Ethiopian Opal is 144 carets, with an incredible amount of red fire & green highlights with occasional flashes of blue deep within the crystal. This opal, which is about the size of a walnut would make an excellent addition to any collection, or, if desired, could be cut to produce multiple cabochons for rings, pendants, etc.
This Ethiopian Opal has NOT been stabilized and was dipped in purified water just prior to the picture being taken to enhance the inner fire of the stone.

in store, it will be shipped in multiple layers of packing to protect it during
