Bayberry Bark 1/2 Oz (Myrica cerifera)

Product Details
One half ounce of cut and sifted bayberry bark. Certified Kosher
Bayberry bark, also known as candleberry bark or wax myrtle,
comes from the Myrica cerifera shrub native to North America. Historically, the
waxy coating on the berries was used to make candles, a practice adopted by
colonists upon encountering the plant. Medicinally, Native American tribes used
a tea made from the bark to treat diarrhea and dysentery, while European
colonists applied it topically to wounds and sores to promote healing due to
its astringent properties.
In the realm of Magic, bayberry bark has been associated with protection, purification, and prosperity, incorporated into rituals or spells for attracting wealth, or protecting their homes from negativity.
