Devil’s Claw (Harpango procumbens) is a flowering plant native
to southern Africa. Historically, the Khoisan and Zulu tribes of South Africa
used the root of the Devil's Claw for its pain-relieving properties. Extracts
from the root were applied topically to treat joint pain, muscle aches, and
inflammation.
While research is ongoing, some studies suggest that Devil's
Claw may be effective in alleviating pain associated with osteoarthritis, lower
back pain, and tendonitis. It's important to consult with a healthcare

Devil's Claw has no known culinary uses. In fact, it can be
