Actions:Enriches the blood, and promotes healthy blood circulation. Uterine tonic; increases DNA synthesis of uterus tissue and increases its regeneration. Regulates menstruation. Antispasmodic. Anti-inflammatory. Diuretic. Lubricates the intestines, and mildly laxative in larger doses. Dilates coronary vessels and increases coronary blood flow. In Traditional Chinese Medicine Tang Kuei is said to harmonize vital energy (�chi�) and to nourish the blood.
Uses:Amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea: painful periods, scanty menstrual flow or menstrual clotting. Menopause. Chronic pelvic infections. Varicose veins, hemorrhoids, phlebitis, thrombosis, bruises. Anemia. Tonic during convalescence from debilitating disease. Various skin maladies like boils, ulcers, eczema and psoriasis. Dry intestines and related constipation. Mild laxative for elderly or debilitated patients.
Dose:Take 30 to 40 drops, 2 to 4 times per day.
